RULES AND REGULATION : UPLOAD PHOTO FOR NEW STUDENT

NOTICE: UPLOAD PHOTO FOR NEW STUDENTS AT UITM

Please note that all new students will need to upload a passport size picture in a blue background to print their student cards at Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Below is a guide that every new student should follow carefully in ensuring that the uploaded picture meets the specifications that have been set by the university.

PICTURE SPECIFICATIONS

1. A passport size picture with a blue background is taken professionally at a picture shop.

2. Any digital change to the image is not allowed.

3. Do not use a cropped image from other image sources.

4. Avoid white lines around the image as this may affect the image dimensions.

5. Clothing and appearance should adhere to the students' personality.

6. Any head or face accessories such as hats, face masks, fashion glasses (sunglasses and similar to it), ‘kopiah’ are not allowed.

7. Black songkok for men and a tudung for women is allowed. It should be used properly and should not cover the face.

8. Blue shirts and scarves or colors similar to blue are not allowed.

9. Size of the image to be uploaded must be 3.5 cm x 4.0cm wide.

Disclaimer:

Printed image on students’ UITM matric card is based on uploaded picture made by the students. If the image used on the matric card is not according to the university regulations, RM50.00 will be charged for card replacement purposes.
